An Indian restaurant moved into the Google Maps top three in 90 days

01 — The challenge
The restaurant had good food and a loyal crowd, but online it barely existed. The Google Business Profile was half-finished, categories were missing, there were only a handful of reviews, and a grid scan of the area showed it ranking around position 19 almost everywhere. Hungry people searching nearby simply never saw it.
02 — What I did
- 01Rebuilt the Google Business Profile from the ground up: description, categories, attributes, menu, photos and services.
- 02Built more than 150 consistent local citations so every directory showed the same name, address and phone number.
- 03Added high-authority and map-based backlinks pointing at the profile and the website.
- 04Set up a steady flow of customer reviews and tracked rankings with a grid scan across Groveport and the surrounding area.
03 — Process
- 01AuditGrid scan, profile audit and competitor check. Average rank: 18.6 to 19.3.
- 02FixFull profile rebuild, categories, menu and photos.
- 03Build150+ citations, backlinks and Google Maps signals.
- 04GrowReviews, posts and monthly rank tracking for 90 days.
